Ideas are like diamonds.

Unmined diamonds are worth nothing.

Uncut diamonds are worth more.

But diamonds that have been cut, refined, and had their beauty revealed; that’s when their true value is revealed.

Of course, some diamonds are worth more than others depending on the four Cs – carat (weight), cut, color, and clarity.

The same can be said of your ideas.

Unmined ideas are worth nothing.

Unrefined ideas are worth little more.

Don’t leave your ideas in the ground. Mine them. Start digging. Dig everyday. And once you find a good one, start cutting and polishing it to change it from an ordinary looking rock to a beautiful diamond worthy of sharing with the world.

Now it has value.
